Today Dolly, sidekick to Martha, had twins. Two gorgeous black lambs, 11.5 pounds, boy and a girl. The photos below are when they are about 2 hours old.
This time we had the heat lamps ready! Todd got each lamb onto mom’s teat within 30 minutes.
I’m still worried about them latching on because, like our first, they bang into Mom’s enormous udder, but never find the teat which is the size of my thumb.
It’s all very exciting. Now we just need Daisy to kick into gear!
