2016 Tee Shirts

Every year since we started this little adventure, we’ve had tee shirts printed as gifts for family (and friends).  Nieces and nephews – up to a certain age – have gotten a shirt every year for Christmas. I used web-based Customink for the last four years.  While they produce a good product, we had a customer service “glitch” last year, and I decided to try going local this year.  Posting an inquiry on our Facebook page, I got a few suggestions, including TK Sports in nearby Enfield, NH. Thanks for the suggestion, Jenny!

Today at lunch, I drove over to TK Sports with a thumb drive full of JPEG files and a sample of last year’s shirt.  I met the owner, Jim.  Susan helped me pick out the shirt color and Steven worked with me on downloading the JPEG Files.  We all had a nice chat – Jim wants me to bring a pound of lamb sausage when I pick up the order.  Steven asked if I could give him the logo file in .eps format – yes! We chatted some about Customink and Jim was confident his prices would beat theirs – he’s right – and Susan said the screen printing will be higher quality – great!

I asked Susan when would be the latest I could call in a few more orders – we’re at 16 total right now.  She furrowed her brow, and said something like “that tends to be a bit of a nuisance”.  When I clarified I meant days, not weeks, we agreed she would wait until Monday, December 5th, to place the order, which will definitely be done by Monday, December 19th.  Plenty of time to wrap and ship before Christmas.

SO, if anyone wants to order this year’s Savage Hart Farm shirt, let us know, by Sunday evening, December 4th.  $20 a shirt, including shipping.  We’ll take orders by cash, check (local) or PayPal.  Click here for the sizing chart.

Here is last year’s shirt:

While I got a lot of flack for the 2015 tag line, I still think it was pretty creative, timely, and clever.

Here are the other tag lines and colors used so far:

  • 2012:  Ewe Don’t Know Sheep on tangerine
  • 2013:  The Lambs Are Alright on light blue
  • 2014:  Sheep Are The New Black on black

And here is this year’s color, daisy, using the spring/summer logo colors:

As per our “tradition”, we do not reveal the tag line prior to receipt, but I promise it will be more PC than last year’s.
