Because we don’t have enough going on at the farm with lambing and the apartment construction, this week Iron Horse Roofing arrived!
Iron Horse is installing a standing side seam roof. The original shingle roof had significant deterioration in the valleys.
The metal arrives as a large spool and each sheet is rolled off, custom cut, trimmed and folded to fit. The sheets of metal go right over the shingles.
This is the backside of the house and the double casement window in the new apartment offers some outrageous views.
This is the new entrance and dormer for the apartment. Roof is looking good!
